Scarecrow was started from a genuine interest in field work, wildlife and pest animal control, with the aim of turning that interest into a professional service for landholders and businesses.

Our services are being developed for farmers, property owners and businesses dealing with pest animal problems. The focus is on practical control measures, quality equipment and modern technology to achieve effective outcomes for each property.

The business is backed by 14 years of Australian Defence Force experience, along with training in wild game harvesting and commercial macropod harvesting. Further pest animal control training will commence in October 2026.

Scarecrow is currently in its establishment phase, with field operations planned to commence in 2027.

We’re building the business around the basics — turning up, communicating clearly, planning the job properly and providing a professional service.

Scarecrow will service South East Queensland, from the Sunshine Coast west to the Dalby region and south to the New South Wales border.
